Steam Next Fest kicks off with 600+ demos and developer streams

Steam Next Fest is a great way to get hands-on with unreleased games you’ve been keeping an eye on, and things you’ve never seen before or wouldn’t consider spending money on without a test drive first. One potential objection to it – and really nothing to complain about – is that there are so many demos and so little time.
According to Valve, there were 628 demos in this round of Next Fest, which means you’ll have to do an average of 89.7 demos per day, every day, if you want to see them. Valve expects more to join as Next Fest rolls out, so you might as well call it 90 a day to make sure nothing’s missed.
