Steam sale date: When is the next Steam sale?
The start date of Steam promotions is a secret at Valve, but they always seem to slip away before the sale actually happens. Information will be shared with developers and partners, but if customers know exactly when sales will drop, many people will just wait for discounts.
Fortunately, Steam sales are fairly stable throughout the year, so it is easy to predict. Even with the delay of Covid-19 in 2020, Valve’s sales are advancing at full speed. So far, the same is true in 2021.

The sales volume is large in summer and winter. They tend to last for two weeks(ish). Other sales such as the Lunar New Year Sale and Black Friday Sale will last for about a week.
Which is the best Steam deal?
We tend to see the biggest discounts in summer and winter sales, and summer sales tend to be the best. Fall and winter sales are often too close to the fall release season to allow significant discounts on newly released products. By the following summer, you can get big discounts on relatively new games. (This is how long it usually takes for games to become cheaper on Steam.)

Keep an eye on the publisher bundle
