Steam’s 2021 Digital Desktop Festival is about RPG
Steam Next Fest will return tomorrow, October 1, with another week of developer chat and hundreds of game demos. But this is not the only major Steam event on the monthly calendar. Valve announced today, Steam Digital Desktop Festival Will also return to focus on RPG.
The 2021 version of the Digital Tabletop Fest will go on sale on October 21st at 10 am Pacific Time / 1 pm Eastern Time. The streaming event will start at 1:00 pm on October 22, with Disco Elysium designer and writer Robert Kurvitz (Robert Kurvitz), then the D&D group at 2:00, in-depth understanding of Greedfall at 3:00, and power at 4:00 Games: board games, and a 5-point speech titled “From Chess to Dragon-Evolution of Gameplay”, which should be of particular interest to our resident chess fan Rich.
The live broadcast will last until October 23-24. Highlights include a performance with Larian Studios’ Baldur’s Gate 3, a panel discussion on drinking and gaming called The Tavern (I think I might need to watch that). Check out Necromunda: Hired Gun (if we are lucky, this will include information about Streum On Studio’s plans to use the game to its potential), and a Paradox Interactive conversation called World of Darkness Goes Digital.
The ruthless optimist in my heart dared to dream that it would contain a surprise update on Lineage 2, but in fact, no, this will not happen. The attached image seems to me like an early experience of the Battle Royale Vampire: Masquerade-Bloodhunt screen, but this is a very cool game in itself, so I think it is still worth watching.
(Paradox did not directly participate in the creation of Bloodhunt, but it has a dark world.)
Steam’s Digital Tabletop Fest: The RPG version will end on October 25th at 10 a.m. Pacific Time/1 p.m. Eastern Time.A complete schedule of events, including calendar links and reminder options, in store.steampowered.com.
