Street Fighter Magic: The Gathered Secret Lair Is Doing Justice for the World’s Warriors

Last year, Wizards of the Coast announced a partnership with Capcom to release a set of Beyond Magic: Collection Cards based on Street Fighter. Yesterday, the entire Secret Lair collection was revealed, featuring eight brand new magic cards representing the original eight characters in Street Fighter II. Luckily, they both fit well with their fighting game counterparts and look like fun additions to any Commander deck they fit into.

Each card appears to have been carefully crafted to mimic their fighting style as closely as possible in the Magic rule set. Of course, Ryu has been training and delivering devastating attacks, and Ken can add a little extra firepower to his powerful attack. Chun-Li using Multikicker is just a chef’s kiss design, while Dhalsim with reach and lots of draws will control the Commander game just like he controls a Street Fighter match.My favorite is E. Honda, he encourages your deck to relax creatures and can buff to one hundred when they are attacking. With all these new cards, it’s all just super fun stuff.
