Sun Ash is delayed to December, less than two weeks before the release date

Heart Machine’s Solar Ash has been postponed.

Originally scheduled for release on October 26, Heart Machine and publisher Annapurna Interactive announced today that Solar Ash will now be released on December 2. The studio said it needs more time to perfect the game and eliminate some errors.

Heart Machine and Annapurna Interactive have decided to postpone the release of Solar Ash until December 2, 2021.” Statement of the heart machine read. “We want Solar Ash to shine. We need more time to make the final touches and bug fixes for the game, while still responding to this global pandemic as a highly dedicated team. This short delay will help us get there.

Solar Ash was announced during the PlayStation 5 event held in July last year, and was announced as a fast-paced 3D platform game with a boss battle inspired by the shadow of the colossus. This is Heart Machine’s next game after the acclaimed Hyper Light Drifter.

In it, the player controls Rei, a space explorer, who explores alien planets to obtain resources, cultural relics, etc., while traversing the environment through a mechanism similar to roller skating. Rei’s world is threatened by a huge black hole called Ultra Void, and she must go through it to save everything she knows.

It will land on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC on December 2.
