In recent years, Sega and Atlus have fully embraced the remake market. In the past few years alone, the company has launched enhanced or remastered versions of the gangster, Sonic the Hedgehog, Goddess Tensei, and Super Monkey Ball series. Unfortunately, the first Super Monkey Ball remake came in the form of Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD in 2019, a re-release of one of the less popular works in the series. Sega must have heard the complaints from the fan base, because with Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz, the publisher has compiled the first three beloved games into a modern experience.
Join Alex Stadnick, John Carson, and me to learn about some of the early game stages of Super Monkey Ball Banana Fever. Although we played the story mode specifically in this video, the package also includes several other destination modes, including a collection of popular party games in the series. Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania also includes unlockable characters from the Sega game library. Hold on to the end of the video and watch us beat Sonic while attacking one of the early Super Monkey Ball stages.
