Originally scheduled for release this summer, the game was pushed in the fall of 2021 with a new publisher.

In the game, you play as Naomi Hayward, a journalist who is drowning in debt. To help pay the bill, she accepted a request from the Morning Bell to “uncover the mystery of a small English town called Rainy Woods.”

Over time, her investigation reveals two hidden secrets of the village. That is, people transform into dogs and cats every night, and someone in the community is a murderer.

Naomi herself will eventually be able to transform into a cat or dog. If you transform into a cat, you will be able to jump and climb. When transformed into a dog, you can use your keen sense of smell to track the inhabitants of the town.

You can switch between the three forms to demonstrate your abilities and solve various mysteries and incidents.

In addition to solving mysteries and taking pictures, you can grow vegetables in the garden, hone your cooking skills, explore, or go to a local pub for a drink. You can also ride sheep.

The Good Life will be available on Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
