If you have not played “The Rise of the Story” and like JRPG, then you need to get a copy as soon as possible. In addition, more than one million people have already done so. More importantly, “Story of the Rise” is the fastest game in the series to sell more than 1 million copies-considering its recent great success, this feat is totally worth it.
“The Rise Story” chronicles the arduous journey of Alfin and Siona – Two fighters from different races are involved in a culture war that lasted for hundreds of years. Together, they explore the five realms of Dahna, Alphen’s home planet, to defeat the evil lords who are fighting for sovereignty.Along the way, two heroes joined forces with a group of interesting characters – From martial arts expert to the last surviving mage in the world. I am fascinated by the characters, narrative, game world and battles of “The Rise of the Story”. I gave this game a score of 9.25 and summarized my comments:
“The Rise Story” harmoniously balances the beloved systems, such as visual novel-style skits and upgradeable games, as well as newly improved game adjustments. The intricate world construction in the subtasks, even ordinary discussions, Both contribute to the rhythm and the cohesion of the narrative. The themes centered on Campy JRPG, such as the power of friendship and the slow-burning romantic tension, run through. Nevertheless, I found myself completely involved in the tragedies and achievements faced by the actors, even though Awkward pauses and rigid cutscenes can destroy immersion. Tales of Arise is a wonderful remake of Bandai Namco’s tried and true formula. It may even be the best installment in the franchise to date.”
Tales of Arise is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
