The first major update of Deathloop is now live, adding HDR calibration, NPC repair, etc.

Bethesda detailed the first major update of its PlayStation 5 console exclusive game Deathloop. The title is appropriately named Game Update 1, and it is now live in the game.

It brings a series of fixes, error compression, etc. It is about 5GB on PS5 and 11GB on PC. It focuses on game stability and new options for players. One thing that trophy hunters will definitely be excited about is that game update 1 fixes issues related to unlocking Oops bronze trophy and death suit silver trophy.

“Game Update 1 improves many aspects of the game experience, camera fluency, and NPC behavior,” Bethesda’s patch notes blog post read. “It also solves several issues that may cause the game to crash.”

In terms of changes in NPC behavior, NPC’s path and response to Colt have been improved. In addition, Aleksis Dorsey’s reaction was emphasized, and Bethesda stated that this will make it easier for players to recognize him among his party guests.

Elsewhere in the patch notes, Bethesda said that this new update adds a calibration screen to the game’s HDR options. It also added a new poor connection indicator on the screen to let players know when their online connection is unstable (which would interfere with Juliana’s possible intrusion). Other changes include improved DualSense controller vibration, improved audio mixing, and some fixes to the behavior of laser mines, turrets, and fireworks for Colt and Julianna players.
