The first Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City trailer has arrived

Sony Pictures Entertainment released its first trailer Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, As you might expect, it has a lot of panic, R-level gore, and of course zombies.

The trailer played many beats from the first two Resident Evil games, including iconic locations such as Spencer Building and RCPD. It has a large number of Robbie Amel’s Chris Redfield and Kayascordario’s Claire Redfield, the protagonists from the first and second games respectively.

In the trailer, we see Claire Redfield (Claire Redfield) delving into Umbrella. We all know it is an evil company, only to discover that Umbrella is actually evil. This investigation of the zombies being created by Umbrella brought the two protagonists of the film to notorious locations in the first two Resident Evil games. In the end, they met Leon S. Kennedy of Avan Jogia and many other characters we knew from the series.

Elsewhere in the trailer, we saw Tom Hopper’s Albert Wesker, Hannah John-Kamen’s Jill Valentine (one of the playable protagonists in the first Resident Evil), Neal McDonough’s William Birkin, and more. It also includes a glimpse of Lisa Trevor, one of Umbrella’s first experiments in the Resident Evil universe.

Oh, and there are zombies, many zombies-standard zombies, zombie dogs, lickers, overgrown zombies, zombie William Birkin, etc.

Sony also released a new poster for the movie next to the trailer today, which can be viewed below.
