Kotaku recently contacted The Pokemon Company to clarify whether the upcoming Pokemon Legends: Arceus will become a completely open world like Nintendo’s The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild or Rockstar Games or Red Dead Redemption 2. Clarify that the upcoming Nintendo Switch game will be more like a Monster Hunter series with a designated area, rather than a fully realized open world game like Breath of the Wild. This is what the Pokemon Company told Kotaku.

In “Pokemon: Arceus”, Jubilee Village will be used as a base for investigation missions.
