The Vacuum Cleaner Company Really Makes Air Purifying Headphones
Dyson, maker of vacuum cleaners with Dustseeking Laser, has created a set of air-purifying headphones that apparently no An April Fools joke.according to Dyson Zone product pagethe device’s mask is designed to direct “a constant stream of purified air to your nose and mouth without touching your face.”
We don’t have any specs on the headphones themselves. All we know is that they are Bluetooth and noise-canceling.team in thing Being able to put on a mask and listen to the headphones and say you can hear the hum of the air purifying motors in the earcups even with noise cancelling enabled seems like a definite downside to wearing an air purifier on your head.
According to Dyson, which has said a lot about the role of its face masks in delivering clean air to your lungs, it should be noted that air purifiers “are not enough to protect people from Covid-19. ” EPA. The agency is obviously not referring to wearable air purifiers for use outside the house (since the Dyzon Zone didn’t exist at the time of the recommendation), but it’s easy to see that if someone is sick and wearing this mask, they can still spread the air of bacteria.Nothing like KN95 or N95 masks. Filtration is only one-way, according to Dyson, it acts on “urban smog and pollutants”.
You have to wonder if blowing in people’s faces is a good idea as we try to limit the spread of the virus. In one of the promotional photos, the mask is worn on the train with the nose exposed – not exactly MTA would recommend.
Enter the area with Dyson’s latest technology. 30 years of air filtration expertise pioneered wearable high-end audio equipment. Comes with a non-contact mask that delivers a constant stream of purified air to your nose and mouth. So you can breathe cleaner air anywhere.March 30, 2022
Dyson said work on masks began before the pandemic, and it was developing an aerosol-filtering mask that would fit in the Dyson zone in some way. So a face covering designed to reduce the spread of Covid is worn alongside your other face coverings that reduce pollutants. Seems like there are too many masks.
It’s hard to pinpoint who this mask is for. While air pollution is a serious concern, I think I’ll stick with my black N95 when I’m taking the bus into town. Though for journalism, I’m sure our own Dave James wouldn’t mind wearing these around town, just like he wears the Razer Zephyr.
