The Witcher Season 2 created another peak for players in “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt”

The second season of the “Witcher” series released on Netflix sparked interest in the last game with Geralt as the protagonist. The number of daily concurrent players in “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” soared to more than 71,000. As I reported at the time, the release of the first season of 2019 started a surge in the number of players, surpassing 100,000 concurrent players, reaching a level higher than the game release day in 2015.

The soaring to 71,000 did not fully reach the release peak, which is more than 92,000, but what it does continue to impress is that a single-player PC game that has been over 6 years continues to attract so many concurrent players. Maybe people just started to accept it after watching the second season, or come back to it.
