This is an important glimpse into the open world of Saints Row
An NPC was knocked down within the first ten seconds of this new Saints Row video, despite its apparently restarted open-world expansive calm display. Business as usual, but Santo Ileso does look beautiful, in a gritty breakfast bullet way.
The above video was provided by Game Informer, and most of the time was spent on different types of areas in the next Saints Row. Sandy inland areas look great for high-speed chaos, but some urban areas look more exciting: look at the neon-flickering suburbs at the 0:39 mark. Santo Ileso is clearly inspired by the American Southwest, and you can definitely see this in the lens (I also get the feeling of Los Santos, perhaps inevitable).
Morgan wrote after playing the game that it was originally scheduled to be released on February 25. According to reports, “Saints Row” will be less avant-garde than the previous one. If the triple jump and launch pad scattered in the sci-fi urban landscape are avant-garde, then I have only blades, thank you.
