We already know River City Girls 2 It is in development, but since it was announced earlier this year, we haven’t seen much information about it. Now, thanks to the new trailer shown at the Tokyo Game Show in 2021, we have actually been able to see the follow-up to the indie games of 2019 — and it looks great.
Soon after the original work, River City Girls 2 brought Misako and Kyoko back to the battle, as these two characters embarked on a brand new beat adventure on the average streets of River City. You can view the first trailer below-with gorgeous graphics and killer soundtrack.
A press release of the game confirms that the sequel will include “new actions, new enemies, new recruits, new environments and the return of old enemies” and “waiting”, as well as “the same overdoneness” of the humor and adrenaline stimulating of its predecessor Combat”. The game will also feature local and online two-person cooperative actions.
River City Girls 2 will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC via Steam in 2022, but a more specific release date has not been announced at the time of writing.
