Tomorrow’s Cyberpunk 2077 livestream may include details on next-gen releases
Cyberpunk 2077 launched more than a year ago with a number of issues, including game-breaking bugs, epilepsy triggers, and more. Sadly, these issues have led to class action lawsuits and storefront chargebacks. Still, CD Project Red’s futuristic RPG was a financial success and became one of the most popular games on Steam in 2020. Mods help stabilize and enrich the PC experience, while consoles (especially the Xbox One and previous-generation PlayStation 4) struggle to run games. In response to the backlash, numerous patches were released and a free DLC pack was promised. However, console owners have been waiting for any next-gen news, and tomorrow’s Cyberpunk 2077 livestream may only contain more details.
Video Game Chronicles Report Last November, CD Projekt Red announced that next-gen versions of The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 were “on track to meet their then-delayed release windows.” Today, the official Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter page announced the upcoming livestream (pictured above). The tweet said: “So, choom, how about a date? We’ll talk, you know. Are you in? Prem! Let’s meet tomorrow, 15th February, at 4pm CET, at the usual place to meet [on Twitch]. See you there! ”
Perhaps new information about PS5 and Xbox Series X/S ports will premiere during the livestream.According to Tom Warren, senior editor at The New York Times edge, Cyberpunk 2077 appears as “Optimized” on Xbox Series X/S. You can see his tweet above.
Only time will tell what the developers have. Regardless, the current version of Cyberpunk 2077 is scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2022. We gave the PC version of the game a 9, but I gave the console version a 5.5 and said, “Cyberpunk 2077 isn’t optimized for the previous generation of consoles, and no amount of fun side events can make up for that.” For Xbox One and PlayStation 4 players, however, their time in Night City can be a nightmare.” Hopefully the current upgrade will help reinvigorate Cyberpunk 2077 .
What do you think we’ll see on the live stream tomorrow?
