Ubisoft has fixed the DRM chaos in Might and Magic 10, and it is relaunched with additional DLC
On June 1, Ubisoft unplugged the “Might and Magic 10-Legacy” server, which had an unexpected side effect that made the game unplayable. This seems to surprise Ubisoft: after the “investigation report problem” surfaced for the first time, it chose to remove the game completely while trying to come up with a solution.
Based on the subsequent series of negative Steam user reviews, it seems that quite a few players did not expect Ubisoft to actually follow up.But today it announced that the problem has been resolved, and Might and Magic 10 – Legacy is back on sale steam.

“Our team has been investigating and testing different solutions in the past few months to ensure that the player’s experience meets our standards in terms of service quality,” the Ubisoft support account wrote on Twitter. “Today, we are happy to announce that all the conditions for bringing the game back to the Ubisoft Store and Steam have been met, and new players and returning players can now venture into the vast and mysterious world of Ashan again.”
As an apology for the trouble, Ubisoft also provided free Falcon and Unicorn DLC to all owners of the base game.
