You can dunk Elden Ring’s Radahn by letting him dunk himself
Here’s a hint for one of the most infamous Elden Rings (opens in new tab) Boss: Let Radarn beat himself. You don’t need magic or powerful weapons, you just need enough dignity to make one of the most fearsome warriors in the middle ground jump off the map and die instantly.
Some crafty Elden Ring players discovered that Radahn’s gravity magic had an Achilles’ heel, and that weakness was water. When you’re about halfway through the big guy’s health bar, he’ll push himself into the sky and shrink like a deadly shooting star. Usually you’ll need to run frantically to avoid situations that are almost certainly one-hit kills, but if you lure Radarn near water in his massive boss arena, he’ll land in it and sink.
To do this, you’ll need to start by fighting Radarn normally, preferably by summoning all available allies in the fight. This will distract Radarn while you’re throwing magic at him or swinging a sword. When he’s close to half health, you can start leading him into the water on horseback. If you are slightly out of his melee range, he will have no choice but to chase you, you can take him all the way to the edge of the ocean and trigger his meteor attack.
This ridiculous strategy – discovered by a Reddit user HomeGrownCrown7 (opens in new tab) and twitter users izuoku_ (opens in new tab)– Made the constant balance pass in Radahn battles trivial, but to me it still fits with the history of soul bosses’ strange strategies. FromSoftware initially over-nerfed Radahn’s damage output, recently (opens in new tab) Make him threaten again. Now you can’t boast about killing Radahn without specifying when you killed Radahn.Bastards sure don’t like you fooling yourself with the Star Calamity, but I think this method works best with surprisingly fun (opens in new tab) The Elden Ring has always been.
“Have you heard about the tragedy of General Raddane of the Star Scourge?” joked Reddit user sebaniko93 (opens in new tab) In a post where someone showed off this approach. “I don’t think so. This is not the story the roundtable will tell you.”
It’s always a shame when everyone is touting the rune farm (opens in new tab) As well as the best weapons, someone has found a way to achieve difficulty in the most absurd way possible.
