If you consider yourself a duelist, today’s going to be an exciting day as Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel launches on console and PC (mobile version coming later). The free-to-play game pits aspiring and seasoned players against one another in the popular card game, which Konami calls the “definitive” Yu-Gi-Oh video game.
Master Duel has over 10,000 cards, and players can even make new cards by breaking down unwanted copies. Due to cross-play, duelists from around the world can play against each other on any platform, and Master Duel will host various forms of tournaments and events. The game also has a cross-save feature, which means you can access your profile whether you’re playing in front of your TV or on a mobile device.
Extensive tutorials help show newbies the ropes, while single-player mode lets players travel through different stories surrounding the lore of the cards themselves. Check out the comprehensive launch trailer below to see what Master Duel has to offer.
You can pick up the Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, PC. It will be available on iOS and Android at a later date.
